Birthdays are sooo... much fun when you are a kid... but birthdays are a lot MORE fun when you HAVE kids to share it with!!!
Duane brought home a cute little cake (just enough for the 5 of us) and I don't know what it is about candles, but they are so fun to blow out. We could forget the presents and just blow out candles all evening and my kids would be HAPPY!
Duane took the girls shopping the night before to get me some gifts and said they wanted to buy me EVERYTHING they saw! Well, they did good, because everything fits and I love it.

 
And Derek was "the life of the party!" Halle & Gabbi laughed the whole time he ate his cake and ice cream. He LOVED it!

Arizona

We went to Arizona last week for Duane's sisters wedding (Crystal & Gary).

We had lots of fun! We all weren't too CRAZY about the drive (9 hours!!!) But we made it... Gabbi & Halle did a good job at keeping Derek occupied, and it helped alot when they all took naps.



The kids had soooo... much fun playing with all of their cousins.

Derek had fun playing in the dirt, playing with the puppies and eating off of everyone's plate!



Duane had fun napping.
And I had fun... doing whatEVER it is I am doing!?

All in all, we had a GREAT time!
