Dinosaurs!

We took the kids to the Dinosaur Park a few weeks ago. It was lots of fun. The kids loved it. We went a couple years ago when I was pregnant with Derek but it was fun to go again. The best part was seeing Derek's face... he absolutely LOVED it! He didn't really know what to think at first, and he was a little scared, but he warmed up real fast and was dragging us to all the different dinosaurs over and over again.

There was even a place where the kids could "dig for dinosaur fossils". I thought that was pretty neat. They had lots of fun doing that.

During Halloween they make the place spooky with skeletons and creepy things. The kids were teasing Duane saying this was what he looked like when he saw the scary dinosaurs.

We had a really fun time. If you have never been, it's a cool place to take your kids... even us "big kids" had a great time.

I'm back!

YAY!!! I'm finally able to update my blog! Our computer was giving us a hard time and not working very well. Fortunatley, my dad is a "computer WIZ" so he got it back on track. Here's the "WIZ" himself...

Not to be confused with this guy, who came around halloween time.

Then we moved a couple months ago so we didn't have internet for a while plus I've been unpacking and trying to get our house all nice and cozy.

... but now we're back! And I'm excited to fill you in on what's happening with our family.

Here's a pix of Gabbi on her baptism day!

Her cousin, Olivia (my sister, Leecie's daughter) was baptized at the same time. The two girls thought it was so neat to be able to have both baptisms on the same day.

Brand New Little Ones

We had 2 new babies born a month apart.

This is Eva Jo. She is my brothers (Tim & Brynne) little girl. They have 3 kids now.

And this is William Ryan. He is my other brother's (Ryan & Bri) first baby.

I can't believe how very tiny they are! I vaguely remember those days... it goes by so FAST!!! It seems just like yesterday I brought Gabbi home... and now I have 3 kids!

This is all of the grandkids on my side of the family.

What a ROWDY-lookin bunch, huh? We love 'em!!!

Catching Up

Okay... I have a LOT of catching up to do!!! I was going through my pictures on my computer and I have so many that I wanted to post, but I just never got around to it... so, I'm going to see if I can catch you all up on what's been going on at our house the past 2 or 3 months...

Here are my little "fashion models".

My girls were in the fashion show for the Fashion Merchandising Dept at BATC. There is one in the fall and one in the spring. They've both been in the shows since they were 3 years old and they LOVE doing it. I started doing the shows WAAAAAYYY back in highschool. And each of my sisters have been in it all through high school. Now my kids are keeping up the tradition I guess.

Here we are trying on clothes at Old Navy and the Mall.

And here we are scarfing down pretzels from Pretzel Maker. Yes, contrary to popular belief, models DO eat!!! At least mine do!

The theme for this show was "Runway Relay". It was about breast cancer awareness and they had one set with all pink. The girls are usually in 2 sets (2 different outfits) and once in a while they might be in 3. So it's a lot of running around and changing for both girls. But they love it.

I think they love that they get to wear make-up and get their hair done and the clothes and getting all "dolled-up"... hey, what can I say... they are GIRLS!!!

Here they are with their Aunt B (my sister Brianne). She was also in the show.
We luv you B!

Here's a pix of all the "Izzy Girls" a couple years ago when we were ALL in the show together! It's me and my 3 sisters, my two girls and Olivia, Leecie's little girl. It was fun.

Okay... now on to some Easter pics! Yes, Easter. Here we are in June and I'm still posting Easter!!! That's the story of my life... "always running behind".

Here we are coloring eggs. Even Derek got to color some this year!

We also had an Easter egg hunt at my mom and dad's house for all the grandkids.
Gee! They sure hit the "jack-pot"! And this is after church. We all had a Happy Easter!
