Halle's Special Day
Halle turned 8 years old last month. So she was able to be baptized on December 3rd. She has been counting down the days to when she would be baptized. She was so very excited. She already had her baptism dress picked out too. It was a fun day. Afterwards, we had a dinner with family. There were a few family members who couldn't be there with us, but they were in our hearts and thoughts. It was a very special day for Halle. She has such a wonderful sweet spirit. I know she loves her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am so proud of her decision to be baptized.

Our Gingerbread Houses
As promised... Here are the pics of our gingerbread houses! This is the first year we've done them. I've wanted to before, but it just seemed like so much work. But the kids are a little bit older plus we used graham crackers instead of making "real" gingerbread and it turned out great!
The kids had so much FUN!!! Derek had some help from me because he was more interested in eating the candy. But he was SO proud of his house when we got finished... they all were.

December 2011
How very very sad... After I joined Facebook, I completely neglected my BLOG!!! I guess I just got lazy. I could say I was just wrapped up in my crazy family... kids... life (which would be TRUE!) And here we are in December of 2011!!!! WOW! Where did the year go???
I'm excited for CHRISTMAS. After the girls get home from school today we are going to make a gingerbread house. We'll have to post pics after its all done. I haven't made one in a long time so hopefully all goes well. My guess is, there'll be a lot more EATING than making.
These are pictures from LAST Christmas... We are all so thankful Halle's arm is all better now!
